What the kqby.dev website stores about visitors, why it is stored, and for how long, written in plain language.

Cookies
This website uses at most two cookies, and neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking:
- kqby.consent stores your answer to the cookie notice so you are not asked again. It lasts 6 months.
- kqby.chat.thread stores a marker for your conversation with the chat assistant, only if you accept cookies. It lasts 1 day from your last message.
If you decline, the chat still works. The conversation is kept in your browser tab only and is gone when the tab closes.
The Ask kqby chat
Messages you send in the chat go from our server to the automation service Make.com, which writes a reply with the help of an AI model. Messages and replies are logged in our database (Supabase) with the page language, the page you started on and your browser type, so the conversation can continue and abuse can be limited.
The conversation log in our database is designed to be deleted automatically after 3 hours without a new message. Please don't send sensitive data such as bank details or passwords in the chat.
The contact form
The form on the contact page stores nothing on our server. Its contents are turned into a message that opens in WhatsApp or your email app, and it is only sent when you press send there yourself.
The review form
If you fill in the review form, its contents (rating, business name, your name if given, role, feedback and publication consent) are stored in our database. A review is only shown if you allow it and after we have read it.
Visit statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits in aggregate. It sets no cookies. This website is also hosted on Vercel.

You can ask to see or delete data related to you by emailing business@kqby.dev.
